Time of past OR future Camino
Plan to hike July 28-August 15
I am starting on Monday 29 July from Leon but I am so seeing if I should postpone my trip due to the unfortunate event of the train crash. Does the trail get affected by the 7 days of mourning? I am coming all the way from the western US and its my first camino! Any help would be so helpful. Thanks!!

An accident in Santiago, no matter how serious, should not be a cause for closing the camino or refraining from walking on it. Life continues on.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Please don't cancel. Walk as you desire. An incredible experience awaits you.

I like the respect you have for those who have suffered. Perhaps the Camino needs you at this time.

Safe journey to you.
