Please put this post on the proper forum. I am currently about 20 km from santiago. I want to go on to Finisterre and Muxia for a few days until April q2. Can I store my backpack T Casa Ivar? If so, how much does it cost WhT is address and hours of casa Ivar?

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
For a PM:
Click on the little envelope icon. On my android it's the left-most choice on the blue menu bar, next to your avatar. On the tab that pops up, choose 'start a new conversation.'
Buen camino, Maria!
Mucha gracias, VNWalking. I have an android too, and great instructions!

We can store it, no problem as long as you can make our hours (pick up and drop off)

When you drop off in person the cost is €2,-/day (max €25,-).

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
You can also deposit your rucksack at the Pilgrim Office for about €2.00 per day, IIIRC.

Just sayin.

Hope this helps.

If it doesn't work out with storing at Casa Ivar you can check with your accommodation in Santiago to see if they will hold a bag for a few days.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

they did agree to do it, for free! I was so surprised. But so good to know there are options. Ivar is such a great resource to have!

Ivar-
I saw a post where you mentioned that you Partnered with Carrymybag?
Can you provide more info? I looked at their site… I’m sending my “Italian tourist luggage to your place…”-
I wanted to see if there was a “Special Ivar code that I enter… so you get “credit it for lit..” I would definitely like to support you any way I can— for all you do… Thanks!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I got mixed up… it’s called

Ivar… look familiar— or no.
I’m sending my suitcase from Italy…
If I was IN Spain it would be much easier.. that’s why I was looking at them. Thank you.
