The Camino By Helicopter wonderful video on YouTube

I recently discovered a beautiful video on YouTube of the whole Camino Frances done from a helicopter: http://www.spanishsteps.eu/camino-video ... elicopter/

Sadly, the video is rather spoiled because it is cut in into two sections, which were uploaded some time apart. (I think maybe that is because it was even made in two parts originally, or because of file size issues - it is in HD) Does anyone have the ability (and a YouTube account) to splice these two parts together and re-post them, crediting the original film makers of course?

Or .... maybe someone with better Spanish than me could contact the video makers and ask them to re post a full version???

Whatever way, it's SO worth watching, I nearly cried with the memories it brought back.
Thanks

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Oooh yeah, soulfood for Camino junkies

Thanks for posting the link!

Sorry, a bit confused as it says the Camino, but I can only get quick flashes and bits and a quick fly around some of the main urban areas. What I see is lovely, but I can't find the whole Camino flight. Is it there?

Of course it's there! Haven't you feel it? Between all those "turistic" air-shots, the rememberance??? Memory of your own?

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Here is a link to a composite of the two videos. Looking at them spliced together, you can see that they were made in two seasons.

It only starts just near Burgos, and is in the form of highlights, rather than a continuous shot, so I don't know if they are in fact a 'taster' of a longer video which they made or not. Their website is http://www.airnor.com

Anyway, it's enjoyable to watch.
