Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Hola @angeliki, Casa Susi is one albergue I can totally/ thoroughly recommend. Susi and her partner are great hosts and you will be made most welcome!
I'll second this recommendation! In May I had my best night's sleep on the Camino (in four Caminos, in fact) at Casa Susi, and great food and conversation as well. Susi has made s real oasis there in Trabadelo, and it's not to be missed.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
I was wondering who would so much money in renos for a rental.
The "short story" I heard from Susi was: yes she has purchased it; there was a lot of hard work to make the building habitable; use of her savings; greatfull assistance from family and friends. If I recall correctly the building is around 200/300 years old and had not been a human residence for a really significant period.

I am unaware of either the purchase price or what Susi has spent so far (and I really DO NOT want to know). But what I will say is; Susi and "friends" have really made a fantastic effort - a really first class job. Cheers

Susi bought her place. The "girl" who rented a place is probably Casa Liceiro in Samos, rented by a young American and run with joy and brio two summers now.
Not sure where it is on the forum.
Thank you for the information I will try to find her also!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
This is why Caminos are so damn good.

I know the growing popularity doesn't sit well with everyone, but when individuals invest their time, money and passion in restoring derelict buildings, then it can only be viewed as a positive thing.

Positive for the locals and positive for us pilgrims who are looking for somewhere nice to rest our weary legs.

Whilst I am NOT running an albergue, just a kind of wee/tiny pilgrim rescue station ;-) You are always welcome to chat with me too ;-) Buen Camino de la Vida, SY

PS Edited for really bad typo ... Thanks @dougfitz for pointing it out to me!

Ashley is the young woman who is the amazing person who runs Casa Liceiro in Samos. She would certainly be willing to talk with you.
