The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Thank you! I am a voracious reader in my Camino 'off season' and will check it out.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Just finished reading Émile Zola’s The Rougon-Macquart Cycle
(it took me a year to read all twenty novels) and I’m looking for another good read. Unfortunately, The House of the Deaf Man
doesn’t seem to be available in digital version, which is what I need. Here’s hoping ....

What a feat! I've just read the Wikipedia blurb. Did you read it in French?

No, it was in English, a very old, superb translation. I bought it through Kobo for I recall $1.99, all twenty volumes! I had long been intrgued by the Second Empire, how it came to be, and how it ended, and it was a French friend who steered me to that series.
Hope helped, here the link to the Kindle version https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TWROLZ2/?tag=casaivar02-20
SY, thank you. This looks promising, but I’m seeing a notation that it’s not currently available. Perhaps they are still working on the digital and it’s just a matter of time. I’ll be keeping a lookout for it. Am always watching out for a good read.
