After almost 18 years of planning and a few months of lurking here on the forum - leaving next Monday for Spain and then starting the Camino Frances! Thank you for all of the inspiration and information found here.
Buen Camino!I leave tomorrow with my son to arrive Madrid 6/23 and then to Gijon for part of the Camino del Norte. I can't believe it either!
Buen Camino!
Thank you for pointing that out. I believe that the appropriate change has been made. Please let me know if it is still an issue. Technology and I don't get along very well - I hardly ever use spread sheets or electronic calendars/schedules. If paper planners and diaries go out of production I will be totally lost. Can I please ask that people enter only the first of their dates in the calendar! @ver49 can you go back and change it please? If everyone puts their whole camino in the calendar it becomes unreadable.
Thank you. The option to get by without technology is probably one of the main attractions for me.Me, too! Fortunately, I found I could get by with very little technology on the Camino. A couple times I thought about reserving an albergue in advance, but never even managed to get it through. . But I never had a problem finding an albergue, either.
Buen Camino! May it be worth every moment of your long wait.
