Sadly, we have finished the CA and are now thrust into the tumult that is the CF. Only four pilgrims in Tiebas last night and saw no one on the trail until we were overwhelmed with the human traffic on the CF in Obanos!

CA is not for everyone (little food, few shops, rough trails), but if you like to hike alone rather than walk in a crowd, give it a look.

I've really enjoyed seeing your pictures of the Aragones. I'm going to have to find a time to walk it! Thank you for sharing your journey with us.

Many thanks for this series of posts. Very useful. I'll be following in your footsteps in about a month.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
With the warmer weather, I am sure the route will be drier and more populated - both good things! The alburgues at Arres and Ruesta were our favorites, as was the walk from Lleidena to Lumbier.

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

Buen Camino

The Aragones is one of my favorite routes. I've walked it twice now and I'd love to do it again! I think maybe next year I'll just take 3 months and walk various routes - might be my last trip to Spain (cough cough)
