Time of past OR future Camino
Frances: May 2014
Finisterre: May 2014
Madrid: May 2016
Del Salvador: May 2016
Primitivo: May 2016
So my leave has been approved for next year. Currently thinking of doing the Madrid, followed by either the Salvador & Primitivo or just continuing along the Frances. Most likely though I'll only make that decision once I've reached Leon.

Now the fun starts by planning and day dreaming about each route. Luckily there's heaps of resources & blogs here on the site to draw upon and sustain me until it's time to fly!

Good choice of route CK007!

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Best of luck to all. May the Camino be truely inspiring.

Hola!
One other option I would also strongly suggest if solitude on Madrid won't be too much. In Ponferrada you may go left on Camino de Invierno which merges with Sanabres in A Laxe (few kms after Lalin). Lots of info in Invierno section and there's also updated guide in forum resources section.

We walked from Madrid last Easter - will take the train to Valladolid to continue next Easter, so roughly March 20th and on. When we reach the Camino Francés, we may go off and walk the Inglés, depending on time spent.
