Is anyone interested in sharing a taxi from Bayonne to SJPdP on Monday 22 September? I've just booked my train ticket from Paris and could only get a service that arrives into Bayonne around 15:30 in the afternoon, too late to catch the local train and get to Beilari (formerly Esprit du Chemin) in time for dinner. Would love some company...

Keep an eye on http://www.covoiturage.fr/. It is now a common way to travel in Europe and with many safeguards.

Esprit du Chemin used to have a "ride sharing" board but the new owners didn't pick it up. Did you try Express Bourricot?

I am also taking a train from Paris on Sept 10th and arrive in Bayonne. The local train (or bus if the train is not running) leaves Bayonne at around 18:06 and arrives SJPP at 19:29 just in time to run to Beilari for dinner. I am also staying there and they are expecting me when the train gets to SJPP. I'm sure that they are used to this. Just send them an e mail and let them know you will be a few minutes late. All they asked was for me to call if my plans change.

Here's the website. Just put in France when it asks for country to get tickets. http://en.voyages-sncf.com/en/
