Transport from San Juan de Ortega back to Bilbao

Any advise would be very much appreciated. Our flight leaves Bilbao on a Tuesday start of April at 15.30. We would like to walk an extra day and finish our few days walking in San Juan de Ortega instead of in Belorado. Is it possible to get form San Juan on a monday evening or early Tuesday morning?

Hola @Mhcamino , whilst there are roads (sealed) into and out of San Juan de Ortega I have not seen any evidence of a bus route through the village. I see your options as either a taxi (and most likely one from Burgos) or walking on to Burgos. The advantage of Burgos is that it is more likely to have transport connections to Bilbao. Hi! I think the best option is walk a bit more till Atapuerca, and there take a taxi to Burgos (aprox 25€). In Burgos you can get the train (RENFE) to Bilbao.
