Fyi. He can transport bikes, packs, people, etc. Esp if it is too big for paqcorreos

There seem to be many forum members with upcoming or immediate plans to walk the Norte.

I am sure they are happy to hear the current conditions you are experiencing.
Of particular interest is availability of accommodation...both albergue and pension.

@lisaflora - we'd all like to hear! Isn't it a beautiful route? If you are at Sobrado you are getting close to the end.

Via Sacra...brand new, lovely, but not cheap. Sobrato monastery albergue still closed due to covid. Their hotel part is open, but was booked

Many albergues are OPEN. I did not stay in a single one that was full.....most had plenty of space except for local tourist areas like Zarautz, Santanilla. Most pilgrims booked the night before without problem. Most places accepting touchless payment with gpay or applepay...I rarely use cash. The Norte was quiet...I walked alone mostly, but just joined Frances and lot of peregrinos.

Not too far behind! Quite a few pilgrims about. In Montonedo tonight and Vilalba tomorrow (22nd)). Staying Arzua 25th but having a real nightmare finding somewhere for 23 and 24th. Any tips welcome!
