Trekking Poles in Santiago

Walk planned leaving Sarria on 23rd September 2020 for the last 100km

I have read on a 2012 thread that it is possible to borrow walking poles that have been left by other pilgrims? Is that still the case? If not are there places to buy trekking poles in Santiago and how much do they cost?

My husband also got poles one year at Pilgrim House in Santiago.

Isn't that the wrong end of the Camino? We did walk backwards one time but that's not the case for most pilgrims starting the Camino.

Lots of the hostels have left behind poles and also the Pilgrim centre used to have plenty.

Go to decathalon in santago. I bought pair tiday in Lisbon 14€pair including tips.

The Pilgrim House had at least 20 pair left behind for other pilgrims last November.
