Buen Camino! Final WAIT and final WEIGHT. I start Thursday and will post a short update as to my experience traveling from US (Sunday antigen test in hand ) and transferring through Heathrow in the Barcelona and having a tight train connection to get up to Pamplona for my first night. I’ll post my step-by-step experience with all of the required documentation and processes. I did change my flight out of Heathrow it only allowed a 75 minute connection to a connection that makes a full three hours I’ll let you know if that was prudent or not..... BTW my pack is 4 count 'em, FOUR pounds overweight ! looking at purging tent, sleeping pad and footprint and guide book and heavy battery backup thingy - there is 4 lbs right there .... arrrgghhh ! TEVA sandals NOT coming (1.2 lbs) simple walmart flip flops (0.2 lbs).... and sooooo it goes !

So excited to begin my first Camino on Monday morning from Pamplona. After wondering if we would be able to enter Spain we are thrilled to get to go. Thanks to everyone on these boards and a huge thank you to Ivar.
Ready to go!!
Buen camino. I understand your excitement, I walked my first Camino last year and am counting down my days until my next, in October.

My guess, prudent. My neighbour recently travelled to Spain and found it took much longer than previously. Buen camino, and yes, do update how things go...
