Using the Credencial again next year

Is it possible to reuse a Credencial for 2 seperate times of travel? i can only make it as far as Burgos this time due to family commitments and would like to return there in 2010 to carry onto Santiago. or do I need to get a new Credencial in Burgos next year?

Yes this is fine. I used the same one for part 2 of my pilgrimage up the Via de la Plata having stopped at Salamanca as I used for the first section from Seville 2 years earlier.

Yes, I used the same credential in May & then September of 2007. No one said anything about it.
