water requirements on Madrid in September

Kiwi-family

walking every day for the rest of my life
This isn't a do I take a bottle or bladder thread!
Assuming I'm taking a bladder, do I take my 2l or would a 3l be safer for September?
One obviously weighs less than the other, but I don't want to run out.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

In my opinion 2L is plenty. But you know, everybody is different. I'm not a big water drinker when I walk. I usually just carry an 8 oz bottle.

An empty 3 liter bladder is not significantly heavier than a 2 liter. Plus you do not have to fill it up to use it... you can be flexible in choosing just how much you want to carry or not carry.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I imagine September temps would be somehow similar to May/June whe I walked Madrid. And I sweat and drink a lot!!! I never carried more than 1,5l (3x0,5l plastic flasks) and never drank all three of them.
Hope that helps!

I went last Sept, I took a 2L and it was fine. There was some long hot days, and if I go in that time of year again I would probably take my 3L, but I like to drink lots of water. I agree with @davebugg.
