Weather?

I know this may be a silly question but from anyone with past experience could you tell me what the weather was like mid September to late October (thats when I walk) I'm normally hot all of the time and very rarely wear a winter jacket and I live in Ireland where it can be quiet miserable in the winter. Does it get very cool in the evenings plus just with hours of sunshine, is it similar to Ireland where but mid October it gets dark normally before 6pm? Thanks

September is pretty warm. Higher elevations will be cooler in October, but a light jacket will be sufficient if you layer your other clothes.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
I walked at this time last year and managed with layers of merino T shirt, light fleece and light rain jacket plus alternative light merino long sleeve top. I don't remember ever having to wear all four layers at once, and I usually feel the cold if there is any! You will be fine
