Oh, how I hate being Number One!
Being Number One has ruined Portland... all those hordes of people raising the property values then high-tailing it out when they realized it rains here until July 4... :wink:

Portland denied me an entry visa. I did not have the requisite Volvo or BMW.

I think our little secret is safe because the writer said that the "Northern Trail" was the most popular of the different Caminos. :mrgreen:

One of my prized possessions is a scarf given to me a while back by a Korean pilgrim, commemorating his football team´s pride in its World Cup standings. Among the bright red Korean devils and "Fighting Koreans" logos was the big blaze in the middle: "We Are Twelfth!"

Not Number 1, but plenty good enough for bragging rights. Puts the whole sports/nationalism/Number One mania into perspective. I LOVE it!
