What is the best way to come to SJPP from Leon?

Hello.
I am in Leon. I am trying to get to San Jean PdP. Does anybody know for the best connection?
Is it easyer to go to Bayon or to Pamplona and from there to SJPP?
The bus from Leon to Bayon comes there at 21.45. So I guess I am too late for the bus to SJPP. Is there any cheap hostel I could find so late in the evening?
Or, is it better to go to Pamplona and from there to SJPP? The train to Pamplona arrives also in the evening. What are connections from there?

Please, if anybody knows, can you advice me?
Thanks!!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Jera, I see that the train gets to Pamplona at 17h08.
The only bus that goes to Roncesvalles leaves at 18h00 and arrives there at 19h10.
(16h00 on a Saturday). The bus is Autocares Artieda (formerly Lamontanesa) and costs about 5.40 euro.
You can get a taxi from there to St Jean - there are always taxis waiting at the bus stop and there will probably be other pilgrims wanting to share the taxi with you.
