Where to buy permethrin in Spain?

I got bit.

I am in a difficult situation where some clothes are made of merino (can't go in dryer). Sleeping bag is 'goose down' (can't go in washing machine) and have a bunch of camera equipment with lots of cracks and crevices.

Basically from reading around, the only option that seams available is spraying everything with permethrin to 1) kill the critters, and 2) scare the rest off.

Once successful I would go on to compartmentise the sleeping bag, and keep the rucksack in a plastic bin liner at every albergue.

Any ideas if permetherin is sold in or around Burgos?

Thanks

@BargePol , I hope you have read the excellent advice and the contrary argument, wild speculation and wishful thinking which is available in this section of the forum: www.caminodesantiago.me/community/forums/bed-bugs.119/
In which case you will know to spray the outside of your pack and the outside of your sleeping bag and that there is no need to spray your underwear. You will also be aware that it is better to spray before you set out as everything needs to be thoroughly dry before you handle it. Permethrin is called Permetrina in Spain, try Farmacias and Agricultural merchants, though the latter tend to sell it in 1k drums.

Buen, bug-free, Camino

Hi, when a similar thing happened to me, a pharmist sold me a small bottle of liquid, but I am sorry, I don’t know the name of it now. I then bought a roll of black garbage bags from a supermarket. I put everything I could into a very hot wash, and then a very hot dry. Everything I owned, including my sleeping bag, wash bag, first aid kit, everything, then went into the garbage bags, with lots of drops from the little bottle, and tied up overnight. I didn’t think I was carrying bed bugs, but I had to make sure. I repeated the garbage bag process twice more, in an attempt to really nuke any little blighters. The chemical fumes from the liquid drops were really powerful. Maybe someone here knows the name of it. Jill

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Please....the OP has asked for help on finding Permethrin in Burgos.
Tincatinker and jsalt have posted helpful responses to his request.

Please....do not turn this thread into another argument over the use of Permethrin.

Thanks.

I'm a little confused.
Is the OP in Burgos now?
Or is s/he starting in Burgos and is still home?

Massive thanks for the information guys. Apologies for a slow response. The host of an Albergue has sprayed all of my kit with permethrin and i went to a farmacy and hunted around. The woman seamed to say that permithrin is not sold in farmacies and proceeded to sell me GOIBI extreme spray (45% DEET).

Hopefully this will keep the chinches at bay.

Any ideas if this was a good/bad purchase? People are saying it is made for skin and lasts 8 hours, but It would be more preferable if it can be sprayed on clothes and last a little longer.

Edit: To clarify, in Burgos today.
