Time of past OR future Camino
April - May 2016
I'm looking for wineries that we can visit and or take a rest day and visit, while we are walking the Camino Frances. Or if anyone has a favorite wine they had and where they drank it while on the Camino?

Ah, "con pan y vino andamos el camino"

Villafranca del Bierzo - walked through there the Sunday after the grape harvest festival in 2003 - a fountain was still gushing wine and there was literally wine running down the gutters - SUCH a waste!

Bodega Tandem near Lorca on the CF. Literally on the Camino Frances.
Have not tried any of their wine, but when I walked the CF in 2014 met one of the owners as I was walking past. Gracious, friendly guy. Spoke with myself and a Dutch pilgrim for several minutes about the Camino.
