What is the weather like in the middle of May.
We are walking the Camino the Portugues coastal way.
What is the terrain like?

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Weather should be good, breezy - you are by the sea; if you're not, you are probably lost!
Also, being by the sea, as you would expect, there is little to challenge you in the way if inclines.

We cycled it in april and it was warm with occasional downpours, blue skies and sunshine!

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Expect all weather conditions. Warm and sunny days, cooler days with heavy downpoors, foggy mornings and sunshine in the afternoon. I always stay in Angeiras in May and June for hospitaleiro. May last year was on the cool and rainy side, other Mays were warm and sunny. My suggestion: check the 10-days weatherforecast: https://www.ipma.pt/en/otempo/prev.localidade.hora/#Porto&Matosinhos

Depending on the weather you can choose your way. Along the coast or heading inland in Vila do Conde > Rates > Barcelos........
