Here are my new Meindl boots - the new version of my old ones.
Hope they'll be as comfy as the old ones were. Didn't realise how worn the old ones were until I compared the soles - worn smooth in some parts - no grip. No wonder I'm always slipping!

I LOVE Meindl boots too..have had the leather ones in past.....and still think they are the most comfy..but it seemed that the general consensus was that they would be too stiff and heavy for camino walking...so..after many hours in local outdoors store have chosen a pair similar to yours.....so far they seem comfy but have yet to do any distance in them......fingers crossed
