hola,

Has anyone walked with Vibram five fingers hiking shoes? I want to try them because my feet always get sleeping toes, no matter what shoes I wear.

Gr,
Suzan

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I walked Camino Ingles last week, in the Trek Ascent. Bliss, even when wet. Last year I walked the Frances in Altberg Tethera 3 season, in September - never again (the boots not the Way). My wife walked the Ingles with me, in a pair of ordinary Karrimor walking shoes, she had no problems.
Sleeping toes doesn't happen in the 5F, since your foot curls around stones etc. and on asphalt you can wiggle your toes when your toes feel 'drowsy'.

I've been wearing FiveFingers for 10 years and so far my favorite are the Spyridon line because of the plate in the arch that protects from sharp rocks. Does the Trek Ascent have similar protection? Did you find that sharper rocks were much of an issue at all? Did you just have the single pair of 5Fs or did you have additional footwear? :)
