warning to any single females walking from Ribadeo to Vilela on the Norte.
A solo female was followed by a creep in a white van like the bread van around 4 pm on the 20 th October 2016.
This guy then stopped the car and first exposed himself and then masturbated in front of her.
She was really scared that he might do worse.
I have reported this to the Guardia Civil in Mondanedo and they will notify the local police but do take care on this stretch

Thank you for the warning! I won't be walking for many months, but I will be a female hiker alone. I'm glad the hiker in question wasn't attacked physically.

In relation to that section , the closing part to Santiago i would not be deterred
We have found the Camino paths are a bit safer than a night club.
