I'm doing the Norte and primitive and want to have a box of supplies sent ahead - to Oviedo- is the post office there the best way? How do I find the address to have it shipped to - and how long will it take
thanks - Brenda Powell

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
Where will you be mailing the box from? If from Spain, Correos' Paq Mochila service might do. Otherwise look up the addresses for the Lista de Correo to see if they have am address in Oviedo. Last solution is to ask the hotel you will be staying at if they mind if you ship something to them ahead of your arrival.

thank you = I was actually hoping to have a friend in the US mail it to Oviedo

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Totally agree. I once had someone ship me a small box of academic pamphlets to Madrid. When I got the notice to go pick them up in some customs building near the airport, I was told that the customs charge would be hundreds of euros to bring them in. So I just left them there.

Shipping from the US you are likely to hit Customs issues as you are 'importing' into the EC.
Yes, I waited nearly a month for a parcel from the US to clear customs

May I ask what kind of supplies you think you need to mail to Oviedo from the US? If you are already going to be walking the Norte, you have everything you need. Oviedo is a big city that sells anything you might need. It's not a rural village.

We are arriving in Madrid on May 5th. I went online today to purchase train tickets to Oviedo and it doesn't show any train service. Does that mean the trains are sold out? Or maybe some other...
Hi, has anyone walked the Primitivo in mid-October? What was it like? Weather, tracks and accommodation? I plan to walk from Oviedo to Lugo only, then bus to Santiago after. Thanks for your input.
