Bring alot of sunscreen, get one of those reflective umbrellas, bring at least 3 liters of water a day. I froze one liter every night and carried it to keep my food cold and pour some on my head. (It worked well) I would not walk in shorts or...

I would ask my physician to take an xray of my feet. Just to rule out osteoarthritis (which often starts with the big toes). Inflammation can settle in more post exercise than during. Just my thoughts.

Check the holiday calendar for Spain. There are always more crowds around Easter and also 3 day weekends. I believe May first is a holiday. Depending on where I am during the walk, I often book ahead lodging during those dates, especially those 3...

I know I saw some discussion on this topic a few weeks ago, but I can't find it - so sorry if this is repetitive. We're likely to get into Paris at the end of April/beginning of May. If we just forged ahead, we'd probably start from SJPdP...

I never tire of doing the Camino Francés (five times and counting!), but the overcrowding in the summer months has made the Brierley stages from Sarria a no-go for me. That's why today I'm interested in your alternative itineraries for the last...

Lots of good advice already in this thread. I also suggest joining a private Facebook group called “Camigas,” which is for women only. There could be questions you might want to address in that group. Have a wonderful time!
