    Happy Easter pilgrims

    Eating my favorite ice cream as I'm typing this. Just arrived from the Easter vigil mass and to the freezer I went straight as soon as I got back home...... I've been good in not touching this at all for the whole time of lent. Now I'm indulging myself!:-).....Happy Easter pilgrims!!!!

    walking in September?

    Joining this thread as I need to buy new pair of very comfy walking shoes too ( keeping an eye on good advise out here)....I did end up with a tendonitis on my third day of hiking in the Camino ..,,. good thing I only did the last 110 km! Ended up buying a cheap but very comfy trainers in Arzua...

    Disappointed with my hiking shoes

    Will join this thread as I need new walking shoes (still need to read everyone's comments here)....I agree, hiking boots is not necessary in Camino.....A comfortable walking shoes is all you need. .... This is based on my experience although I've only done the 110 Kms from Sarria!

    Camino Prayers

    Wish I have read all of these prayers before I went for the pilgrimage but nevertheless I prayed the rosary the whole time I've been walking for 5 days. Miracles just kept pouring on me....sooo amazing, overwhelming and humbling experience it was! Truly God answers prayers and never abandons...

    Thanks Cheynee.... Ankle is not that swollen now... Been elevating it plus cold compress and bandage seems to be helping a lot..,.and oh some anti inflammatory tablets and cream too! I really hope I can resume tomorrow. Thanks all! Buen Camino!
