Suggestions from Lisbon
I am looking for a 5/6 day walk from Lisbon (or possibly Porto) in September. Ideally with good transport links for return to starting point. We did the Fisherman’s Trail last year - too hot and sandy. Either coastal or inland with good accommodation. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks- FlyingScott

LIVE from the Camino Escaping the Rain: Walking the Rota Vicentina in Portugal
I walked the FT 3 weeks ago and never again due to combination of extreme heat and 2.5 days of relentless sand. Beautiful scenery and we stayed in some great hotels but tough otherwise.- FlyingScott

Zambujeira do Mar » Odeceixe, section of Fishermen's Trail
Hi everyone - maybe a stupid question but can you cross the river close to Praia Odeceixe coming from ZDM and avoid the walk into Odeceixe? we are staying in Praia Odeceixe and I believe you can cross the river at the beach end at the right tide? Thanks in advance- FlyingScott

Odeceixe to Arrifana in early October
Hi everyone - do you need to stop Aljezur on this section or are there any alternatives. We are staying in Praia Odeceixe and not sure if the cut inland to Aljezur is worth it. Best direction to walk the Florida Trail in October
Thinking of walking the FT in early October 2023 and was wondering if there is any benefit of walking in either direction?
