Go straight to SJPdP, and relax there for two days soaking in the atmosphere. It's beautiful and peaceful and a far cry from the craziness of Paris which detracts from the beauty this city. There will be enough adventure on your Camino.

1 night in SJPP is plenty for me. I flew into Paris and took the train to SJPP, checked into the Pilgrim’s Center, stayed overnight and was ready to head out the next morning. I only went as far as Orisson the first day.
