How do I find out more about the Ditch Pigs and other groups that spend a few days cleaning the trail? It sounds like Ditch Pigs would clash with Thanksgiving Day in US which for me is family time.
I have heard the Semana Santa processions in Leon are some of the best in Spain, right up there with Sevilla and Cuenca. Any other places along the Camino with good Semana Santa celebrations?

If you can do the Norte coastal, you can do Primitivo. Hospitales is beautiful. I have never done Pola, but it is also supposed to be beautiful. But don’t reject hospitales just because you think it will be too hard.
