  • El Gonzo, CF
    On Saturday, 16th of March, we went through El Ganzo on CF thinking we would stop for water at Albergue Gambino (at the end of the village) which has been open before in March.
    It was closed for repairs and opening again in April. But just wanted others to know so plan accordingly if coming through the area soon.
    I get it that, in summer, you carried a silk sheet and not a sleeping bag, so reducing both weight and volume.

    I think I have mastered the art of light weight with 7 kg, including a tent, two changes of clothes, water, tablet and breakfast.

    Can you please share your pack list. Thanks
    @Marbe2 , greetings

    I have read your posts in the thread "Camino prep Q's - last minute camino please help!"

    As one who has scoured the globe to find strong (Applachian Trail compatible) but light weight gear (pack = 600 grams or 1.3 lb) and so on, I am very interested in your 6lb (nearly 3 kg) pack weight.
    Past: 2015 SJPD to Burgos, 2017 Leon to Santiago, Pamplona to Santiago March 2018
