MFinished Leon to Santiago today, made no reservations on the way. No problem with accommodation. Several times first choice completo, but subsequent choices availability no problem in any village or town.

I've usually found Gronze are most up to date. A website rather than an app. But even better is to phone somewhere direct and ask them if they are open and have beds available.
