I was planning on spraying my bag with Permethrin. I do that every year anyway to keep ticks and mosquitos away when I camp. I use a mummy bag in cold weather but have a light weight rectangular one for warmer seasons. Thanks for the reply!
No matter the season, I take a lightweight down sleeping bag that I cut the hood and zipper out of, so it's like a blanket with a footbox. I've used it in late autumn, early spring, and even in June.

Latest I heard from a friend in Santiago was that the Bota Fumeiro was being refurbished and would be back in operation soon. One should not let the spectacle of the Bota get in the way of what’s truly important -and that is the Mass itself.
