@GeorgeL has not been on the forum since November 2023 when he had been in Santiago. I guess his plans changed. All of the bus/train combinations listed above work. The optimum trip will depend on your day of travel -

I only have a fortnight, so this is my tester multi day hike starting in SJPdP. I may reach Burgos but I am researching various returns to Biarritz.
