A three word godgle search produced quite a few. I've heard of https://www.bikeiberia.com/camino/bike-rentals-camino/#:~:text=Our%20Bike%20Rentals%20for%20the,our%20High%20Standards%20of%20Quality. and gather they are regarded as at least OK ;)

From my experience they are aromatic pretty much year round. I am sure some of the Aussies can give more details but I when I lived in Sydney during the summer when they would oozed sap and if there was a heat wave they would spontaneously...

Then go slow, it's not a race. :) I'm not sure where you get the 25 kms from. Many of the Guidebooks seem to suggest 'stages' that are way too far for me to walk comfortably. My average is probably 20 kms a day once I warm up. My first few...

What's your source for the 25 km per day? What does counting kilometers say? I mean, if your counting kilometers, or speed, you might be in the wrong place. :)

25 km per day is a comfortable pace for me and is what I use when calculating how much time I will need for my Camino. Some days are longer, a few are shorter. It's all about what works best for you.

I'm not sure what type of explanation you are looking for, as there should be no need to defend this distance or any other! ;) If a normal walking speed is about 3-5 km/h, and you are willing to walk for 6 hours, you will cover about 18-30 km...

Not everyone can take the time to walk a slow Camino. With travel time, the Frances will have me away from home for about six weeks.

Everyone walks the pace that they prefer. For me, that is about 25 km per day, which I can cover in about 5-7 hours. Other people prefer to walk shorter or longer distances. Just like some people like vanilla ice cream while others prefer...

Get past the first week we shall be fine. We are doing lots of hill training for my 68 yr old knees. If all else fails I’m not too proud to make the days shorter or bus to next stop.

I agree that’s why we will spend two days in San Sebastián - rest and recuperate from flight and 25km walk from Irun.
