    Seeking lower airfare - September 2012

    Booked a RT ticket for SFO-MAD-SFO on Priceline for $892. I discovered that its cheaper if you're departing on a Sunday. We do have 2 stop-overs on the way there, but if I figure 3 hrs extra traveling time is worth saving $400!

    25-35's a pretty ambitious pace. I would suggest getting a copy of Brierly's guide - it shows distance and altitude of the different stages, so you could plan ahead (ie early stop at albergue to rest up before heading up a mountain). Good luck n stay safe. Manuel
