Hi, I read your post, I've been hiking long distance for years
When you get to a break, take off your boots let your feet rest and dry put on a pair of clean dry socks, talcum powder helps, you're getting blisters because your feet are wet and sliding around inside your socks. If you're doing a...
Go to the Canary Islands. La Palma is great, the north part of Tenerife is awesome, there is a ton of hiking, accomodations and food are reasonable. I found an apartment on la gomera found 400 a month and had a great time.
Well congratulations on your committment for your Camino!
I rarely write on blogs or forums, but wanted to impart a piece of wisdom I have gathered on my four Camino. The first two Frances I did absolutely no research and carried no electronic device except for an iPod. The only reference...

I am starting my winter Camino Frances on January 10 at roncevilles or pamplona.
I live in the Rockies so snow travel is no problem.
Any advice?
average walking days?
pensions Vs alberques?
Covid precautions in albergues?
I have 45 days.
thanks

Hey All,

Hello all, I hope this finds everybody well and dry. I've been down on the Via de Plata for the last 2 weeks and honestly finding it a bit lonely and the walking not particularly challenging. The distances are great which is fine but it's walking through the same field. I am thinking about...
hi
I am heading out for my second Camino and was wondering if anyone had thoughts or advice for doing it twice. I have considered the Norte but am on a pretty tight budget, and understand that accomodation is a bit more fluid ie sometimes hostel, alb, or pensions.
