It is difficult since some holidays are very local. There are days Santiago has a holiday, but not Padrón a few kilometers away… then think of how complexed it would be if we include Paris, Lisbon and other towns.
The important thing for this shipping service is that things get picked up...
Good morning... since this was posted here. I have sent 4 emails responding to parents and @garlicbread earlier today. May 1st was a holiday and DHL was not able to pick up. The pickup was scheduled for Tuesday, but I guess they could not do it and they will be doing it today since May 1st was a...
Not sure about DHL from Santiago to Porto... I would assume about a day or two...

It is a big investment, but it will be there "forever". The good thing is that is will cut down on shorter flights internally in Spain. Less pollution...
And then we have this...

It is all part of a plan I think.
Under 3 hours from Madrid to Oviedo. New high speed train starts this service tomorrow. Good option for those wanting to walk the Camino Primitivo.

They had an office there before the pandemic, but I think they never opened it up after things opened up again. Last time I look, it was not there.
Nothing mentioned on the airport page here:

I have heard this before... but if you want to ship it here, who are they to tell you where you should ship it?
They are probably just trying to help... but...
Either way, if you sent it to the post office you will most likely be fine. No stress. :)

Hi there,
From SJPP you have this option:
https://www.expressbourricot.com/luggage-transport/
Or I run this service (I can store it, but you need to ship it yourself... the post office in SJPP for example):

Buen camino!

You can send it however you want, but the post office works well. The only negative is that if there is a problem, their customer service once you are in Spain is close to zero. As an alternative, you can ship with a private shipper like DHL. Search google maps for locations around you. Also...
Feel free to send away.. I am open all year (except over Christmas). Use the link above for shipping instructions, this one for pickup hours once you are in Santiago:

Buen Camino!
