Oh my god! Just did santander coastal route! It was so so beautiful how is this not the official camino!? Its nicer than anything from irun (and there were lots of special points on that leg)

Ive just walked from Deba today 25kms with no shops or bars. Just up through the mountains. It was torrential but i didnt get too wet. I definitely think poncho and cover for your bag. Legs didn't get too wet but i imagine if there was a wind blowing too you'd get soaked. Waterproof trousers...
