Thank you! We did the 2/3 of the French Way in the Camino de Santiago de Compostella for two years: 2017 and 2018. This year we started to walk the Camino on May 18, which many pilgrims who started to walk on the same day are walking right now, might be till almost the end of this month (June)...
my wife and I just came back from the Camino (French Way) last night. We started from March 18 at Saint Jean Pied de Port to March 30 at Burgos. Thanks to your devoted pilgrims like you all, we made the 2nd Camino, some of which we walked the 1st Camino from Leon to Santiago de Compostella to...
If the strike is keeping on, what would be alternative way such as bus or van or sharing program, except Express Bourrricot ? I already contacted Express Bourricot which asked 84 euros. it seems too expensive.
We will fly at Biarritz on May 17, already booked by train which is said to be under strike. We will train Biarritz to Bayonne and then to SJPP. Exactly one week later we will be there. How about current French train strike? it is almost reached to agree or not???
exactly what I did. ....... On the page for pay, I put all credit information and then click for pay, but I got a page " .... not completely finishied.."
Wow! Sound like good news. Do you mean that my trains (from Biarritz to Bayonne & from Bayonne to SJPP) do and will have No Strike and we take the reserved trains ? I want to catch up with you. Please let me make sure that it goes well.
Thank you so much for Quick help. How about from the train from Biarritz to Bayonne? davebugg said "......the train which is replaced by bus service from Bayonne to SJPdP has not been affected by the strike yet."
Thank you for good and practical help. My wife and I will be at CDG Paris airport on May 17 and fly to Biarritz air port. We already reserved and paid for a train from here to SJPP which is under strike. So we reserved a bus ride in Express Bouricott. Any one want to van share for less cost...
See you on May 17! How's weather? It is said that it is likely to rain and it rains around on 17, 18 of this month. My wife and I will start to walk at SJPP on in the morning of May 18. it is expected to be cloudy. Can we walk on Route de Napoleon?
We will start on May 17, around 15 days later at SJPP. How is the Camino? What's the weather: looks like almost everyday will rain? Is the Camino busy? Is it hard to get albergues (daily basis)? What is the highest and lowest temperature? ......
Any comment, suggestion, advice and idea will be...
