Is there anywhere private to book in Coca if you cant deal with the technology. Last time in 2018 we found where the hospitalera stayed and she came to unlock the Albergue with her rollers in her hair.
I was so thankful this year on the VDLP to have my older Gortex rain jacket and Gortex Keen hiking shoes. My top was kept very dry and I could even walk through some of the shallower streams. My Hokas would have been destroyed with the mud and water. Glad I decided not to use them.
Don't worry ! I have noted in the three times I have walked the Via that there are many more women walking than my first time. I usually start the week after Easter which seems to be the busier time. I'm no Spring chicken and start once more on 10th April. Great Camino!
