I am 57 years young and did the entire Camino this September and October. I also have arthritis and am very prone to tendonitis. My approach was that I was going to be as strong as I could be starting my Camino. Have you had cortisone injections, done yoga....?

You could try Orrison Albergue , it was very nice and the owners were very kind and fun! There is also a couple of places before Orrison . About half mile. Some people stayed there and walked up to Orrison for a great family style meal.

All that anticipation, excitement put on hold! My flight was cancelled out of LAX to Paris. Oh well, it could be soooo much worse. I'll be on a flight tomorrow!
It's happening, now I want to slow time down. I've enjoyed so very much preparing, reading and learning about the Camino. It's been exciting and relaxing. But alas, tomorrow I become a Pilgrim!
