Not sure about DHL from Santiago to Porto... I would assume about a day or two...
I can ship DHL from my office in Santiago. More on this here:

It is a big investment, but it will be there "forever". The good thing is that is will cut down on shorter flights internally in Spain. Less pollution...
And then we have this...

It is all part of a plan I think.
Under 3 hours from Madrid to Oviedo. New high speed train starts this service tomorrow. Good option for those wanting to walk the Camino Primitivo.

They had an office there before the pandemic, but I think they never opened it up after things opened up again. Last time I look, it was not there.
Nothing mentioned on the airport page here:

I have heard this before... but if you want to ship it here, who are they to tell you where you should ship it?
They are probably just trying to help... but...
Either way, if you sent it to the post office you will most likely be fine. No stress. :)

Hi there,
From SJPP you have this option:
https://www.expressbourricot.com/luggage-transport/
Or I run this service (I can store it, but you need to ship it yourself... the post office in SJPP for example):

You can send it however you want, but the post office works well. The only negative is that if there is a problem, their customer service once you are in Spain is close to zero. As an alternative, you can ship with a private shipper like DHL. Search google maps for locations around you. Also...
Feel free to send away.. I am open all year (except over Christmas). Use the link above for shipping instructions, this one for pickup hours once you are in Santiago:

Many times what happens when you send things across the border with the post office is the following.
You ship it from France or Portugal with the post office there. Once it reaches Spain most of the time (depending on the shipping product you bought I think) it does not get taken over by the...
They used to fly out of Santiago a few years ago but stopped. I have not used them, but not heard anything bad about them either... if you find a flight you like, I would go for it.
I know why... when you send with the French postal service, the parcel is given to SEUR once it enters Spain. SEUR is a private shipper. When they try to deliver to the post office in Santiago, the post office will ask for payment for using their storage service. This is free if you use Correos...
