I’ve done this section twice…
Once five years ago with five of my six children , the other three when we hiked this part of the GR 10 on the French side and then turned around to do the GR 11 On the spanish.
It was some of my favorite hiking, and think if someone has the time they should start...
I don't know. I didn't even know there was a new route. While my mind and dreams are all things Camino, I've had little time of late to catch up on Camino news... I still have not shared our Pyrenees adventure and think I haven't been on here since...
I do know she is donation base, and I also...
I suspect this might have been answered by now and never saw the question...but we took a cab.
I forgot the price, it seemed reasonable to us. I think the number was on the wall on a card at the auberge.
Lori so great to see you are the Norte! I’ve been gone three months, flight home today and had no idea. You’ve been saying it was on your radar. I hope you live it as much as I do!
Both Nortes I stopped in Bilbao ...my body just wanted to stop there.
I stayed in the awesome youth hostel there and both times was blessed to get to walk with MendiWalker
from this forum out of Bilbao!!! That was a TREAT!!!!
I hope this will help convince you that your theory is correct.
My first time out over to Roncesvilles I was dying leaving SJPP.
This last time with Le Puy under my belt I kept telling my children, "wait, up ahead you'll start struggling"...we bounced on up and over never having an ounce of...
Time permits me from reading all of your responses at the moment but I did this with five of my six children a year ago!
We connected the two routes by foot...I wouldn't take back those days for a million dollars. The walk between the two is not to be missed!!!!!
My blog will share where we...
We took the E-9 whenever we realized we could.
I can't remember all the specific town etc... but did share them in my blog as we came along them.
This past Norte (I've done it twice) I hit TWO areas that were on the coast that I missed the first time I did it,
I could not believe that I missed...
I might have been the one pilgrim who replied, I don't know...this might be info already shared.
I walked the Norte with five of my six children and we finished November 24th.
My youngest was 9. We did sleep outside a lot though. To my knowledge there was room along the way sometimes they were...
Sending love and hugs, almost at a loss for words at what you have experienced. Hugs and may our community love surround you in your final days walks of this camino.
You are loved!

I had not heard of this beach the first time I did the Norte, this past time...
I did it, only to send off a pilgrim that I adored who was departing via bus and finishing his camino there (planned). Oviedo was beautiful and so glad that I did this!
This past time my kids and I did not do this, I regret not taking them to Oviedo but one of the best friendships of my life...
