I too have been weighing and researching this very question. Having visited many of the places on both routes in 1996* on our honeymoon (by car) there are parts of both worth seeing again and none I really would avoid. Now, walking this is very different of course.
Coastal is likely to cost more...
Despite fitting all the requirements recently in UK we were told it is not in wide use there and we would not find any. Even with a British MD in the family.
Other parts of Europe may be different but I would doubt it is easy to find. Pfizer recently reported very slow sales in EU which...
Whatever you decide be sure to use only the debit card and not a cc, and make sure that card is tied to a specific account with limited funds for safety. Most likely you can log in to your bank’s website and transfer more as needed. That is what we do when traveling. In US there are many...
I have lost over 70 pounds (about 5 stone,) most of it since June. I plan to loose another 30 before I leave in the Spring. My weight loss has been constant but what has slipped is my walking training. Sadly this is partly due to a thread here in which I was called out for some of my decisions...
Although unlikely to be easy to find on the Camino, Contact Cleaner will penetrate and then evaporate leaving behind no dirt magnets like silicon or wd - 40
Although no expert on these poles I do know a bit about the mechanics you are suffering from and I would say it is quite likely very fine dirt / debris that has worked its way and you might try a very long soak along with trying to loosen through pressure every 15 min or so. If successful I...
A) because the best laid plans still fail and B) I am going in late March when days are very short and C) I do not believe I will have this misfortune and doing 12 M (20+K) a day will be done in about 5 hours time. Six with a meal. I do not fear losing space or not finding a bed. My point was...
Well I guess my weighing the decision of whether or not to use a service has now shifted to not. I hope to walk my Camino in peace and w/o fear of judgement. I had planned to send my CPAP and the clothes for after the Camino ahead each day and carry (in my 38L bag) all I need for the walk itself...
Is this type of "sorting out" of who gets a bed and who does not also apply if I was walking all day and as it got too dark I took a bus the last 3 -5K? DO I need to stealthily depart bus a few blocks away and be sure no one sees me? I am deeply troubled by the notion that bed space or any other...
Who determines what a "valid" reason would be? Does age qualify? What about medical devices too heavy to carry? Seems like a slippery slope when people start to decide who has a valid reason for something and who does not.
Let me qualify this by saying I have yet to walk a camino and have...
Seek medical exam. Soon. You may just have a severe strain which will heal quicker or you could be in danger of doing serious damage that could effect years of your life. Seek medical exam.
According to Yelp there is an ortho MD in Pontevedra

As a one time hack in NYC 35+ years ago at JFK they had a "short haul" ticket the dispatcher gave the driver so they could return to a much, much shorter waiting line for next fare. As for using the departure level, although clever, in many places it is not legal to accept a new passenger...
Great idea. Since I tend to walk, hike and do almost everything in shorts as long as not below 40° F outside I have no place to put tape down low. Now I do. The poles! Of course. I have hiked a glacier in shorts. After 30+ years in So Cal and wearing no long pants my legs simply do not get cold...
You may try placing the tape on an elastic exercise band (the kind used for stretches) and simply use that around you or around only your pack or in many places, you can buy a spool cheap and cut to size. Not sure tape will stick but see no reason why it wouldn't.
4" wide X 18' tape $11
Oh my, almost every single choice I made on US site is sold out. My guess is they have yet to import it here to begin with? Looks like great stuff at great prices though and I have some time before I leave so I will check back.
OK, does anyone know of a backdoor or other portal for the US site...
