Got in to Longrono from Los Arcos about 1:30 yesterday on Sept 10 and feet started searing in pain last 6 km. Went to Albergue where friends had reserved. No bed. Albergue manager looked on his computer and couldn’t find me a bed. I was in so much pain that I couldn’t go forward so got a hotel...
GOOD NEWS UPDATE! Credentials found and the Zubiri Albergue is sending them forward. Camino Angels!!
But thank you to all for advice on putting more info on them.
I somehow misplaced my credentials. I was staying at Municipal in Zubiri. Perhaps someone picked them up by mistake? Hoping so. There are two passports for me and for my father who I am walking in memory of. If anyone walking now has them, please let me know. Staying in Pamplona for two nights.
I would like to send to you, Ivar. I listened to your video, which was VERY helpful. I’ll go to store and get cling wrap and send from Correros and will not use pilgrim rate. Or if I can find a DHL. It’s a rather large suitcase so I hope that is O.K. This will give me the peace of mind to walk...

I am in Madrid and leave for SJPP Sept 1 and start walking on Sept 2. I was thinking it would be easy to find storage for my suitcase here. I plan to stay another month in Portugal after the Camino. I found a place but only allows 15 days. How feasible is it to show up in SJPP with a large...
Thanks for asking this question @jasperg357. I would like to add another question to this around VPNs. How safe do folks feel using public WIFI is in Spain and would anyone recommend a VPN as well?
Thank you for the reply. I officially feel that welcome Camino hospitality I have read so much about! I'm walking solo but anticipate meeting a lot of like-minded souls along the way. I'll be bringing my dad's hiking poles that he used just before he passed in 2020. Hoping he'll be with me in...
I have had the Camino on my bucket list for many years and finally decided it was time to do it. I'm very excited, a little scared, but mostly eager to be on the trail. I will start my pilgrimage on Sept 2 or 3 and would love to connect with anyone else starting then.
