Pilgrimage ways outside Europe
As already mentioned, the Camino Salvado from Perth to New Norcia is in Western Australia. It is historically linked to a catholic mission to indigenous people. It's been developed really well and (I believe) is no longer only open to booked groups. There's also the Bundian Way in New South Wales.- Aussie Peregrino

Thanks Kathar1na, I mean a). My concern is that asking people about their spirituality as they experience it might be disruptive. Perhaps I could seek the data after the completion of a person's Camino (see if I could base out of the pilgrim office at Santiago) or even online. Hope that helps.- Aussie Peregrino
