    Thank you :) I did read on a very old thread somewhere that there is a way to join a train route from Barcelona at Pamplona and then travel west across northern Spain instead of dipping down to Madrid but your suggestion is the only one that really comes up online so I guess that is the option...

    Hi! A group of friends and I are starting in St Jean and walking to Roncesvalles but then need to get from Roncesvalles to Sarria to walk the last 116km- any advice would be appreciated- it is our first Camino! And first time in Spain! Thank you in advance :)
