LIVE from the Camino April 15 - 17, 2015 Cacabelos (Ponferrada Stage) Bridge WAS closed from 7am - 9pm
I just heard that the town hall of Cacabelos has announced that they are going to be closing down the bridge that spans the river to do repairs. I arrived to Santiago last week with our group and we found that they have roped off the center column of the Puerta de la Gloria, which meant that pilgrims could no longer place their fingers in the Tree of Jesse or tap their head on Master Mateo.
