I left sjpd on 12/28/15 and had no trouble on the vally route .I flew into madrid bussed from the airport to pamplona hotel for fhe night and a cabto sjpd in the morning fhe cab was 100 euros but got a guided tour of camino crossings and open alburges.one more tbing you never know what may be...
I land at 7:50 am dec 27th madrid t4 there's a us to pamplona at 10:45 at t4. This is is what I'll catch most likely but there's a 9:40 train leaving from attoacha. My question is is there any chance of making the earlier train? I'll have a checked bag and no idea how long to get it clear...
good luck your camino mike. I fly to madrid 12/27 land 7:50 am bus from t4 to pamplona bus from pamplona to roncevalles taxi from roncevalles to sjpd a good nights rest then7 days at the begening then 15 days from sarria to muxia and finnally finesterre
siskia good luck and buen camino. I start december 28 from Leon and fly out on the 18th of january from madrid. the only advice I have is dress in layers boots instead of shoes and carry enou gh supplies to last at least a day in case you find yourself and everthing is closed.
